Challenges for youth welfare and school

In the fifth episode of our podcast, we talk with Lena from the Parents and Right-Wing Extremism Competence Center about right-wing parents' homes as a challenge for professionals in child and youth welfare and education. On the one hand, we are confronted here with authoritarian ideas and violence in upbringing, up to the point of endangering the well-being of children. On the other hand, inhuman attitudes of parents shape the worldview of their children and contribute to a possible radicalization. Professionals in youth welfare and education are often one of the few people who can teach the children and young people concerned what equality and democratic participation mean for everyone.
