Advanced training on the enemy image of feminism

Together with the Competence Center Gender Equitable Child and Youth Welfare Saxony-Anhalt e.V. (KgKJH), the State Women's Council Saxony-Anhalt e.V. and the Mobile Counseling Project in Anhalt GegenPart we offer a training for professionals in child and youth welfare, girls* and boys* work, school social work, counseling work as well as to gender equality officers in Dessau-Roßlau on November 24, 2021. The attack in Halle on October 9, 2019 has shown particularly clearly that the enemy image of feminism and the hatred of women* conveyed therein is a central component of extreme right-wing ideology. In the workshop, the right-wing conspiracy narrative of the "Great Exchange" will be used to illuminate the connection between right-wing extremism and hatred of women*. It will be shown how the ideology of antifeminism forms a hinge between different actors of the (extreme) right. Together we will work out how sexism and the disparagement of women* can be countered in everyday situations.
